I am opening up this post to your thoughts on these two topics:
Obama's first 100 days in office - as good as the libs say or as bad as the right says?
Just how bad is this "swine-flu"?
We have not been home these past months, and the US media does not penetrate quite this far, unless you seek them out. We trust you more anyway.

The swine flu is equivalent to the South Park show on global warming. If you haven't seen that show, welp, it's pretty much all hype so far. Consider it America's fan death epidemic.
ReplyDeleteAs for Obama, I think both sides are completely off, although I tend more with the right. Although, he has hugely broken many of the promises he made about change in the government. Oh, and decreasing the budget. Every American can thank him and the current congress for spending $5,000 more per American than what we paid in taxes this year. And that will of course incur interest, etc. He has passed the largest grouped bills when he said he would work to make a law only allowing bills address on issue at a time. Although our foreign policy is much improved I would say.
Anyway, I would say as I always have, nuke DC and lets be Federalists again.
this flu is something that is affecting Mexico pretty harshly, but unless you role around with pigs you probably don't have to worry too much about it in the US.

both are hyped too much, but indicative of potentially much greater problems facing america in the future...
ReplyDeleteIt was once said that a black man would be president "when pigs fly" indeed 100 days into Obama's presidency. . . Swine flu
ReplyDeleteWe're engaged!!!
ReplyDeleteHAHA!
ReplyDeleteFortunately for the pigs and hogs out there, the "Swine" flu has been renamed, but I don't think the media has really picked up on it. It has nothing to do w/ "swine type" mammals. Unfortunately for the Egyptian pigs, they were killed before the UN decided to rename the flu....
